Request data and photographs
When you request an assessment, we may process contact and return details, request information, the stated damage size, communications, status and tracking, plus photographs of the whole board, the damage and its measurement.
Photographs should show only the board and damage: avoid people, documents, addresses or unnecessary details. We may also process technical data required for security and operation, such as essential logs and minimised network information.
Purposes and legal bases
We process data to answer your request, assess damage, provide a price or quotation, manage pre-authorisation, follow the repair, arrange return and communicate with you. The basis is taking requested pre-contractual steps and, once formed, performing the contract.
Some data is processed to meet administrative, tax or legal duties. Security, abuse prevention and technical continuity rely on legitimate interests where applicable and balanced against individual rights.
Optional statistics and replay rely on consent: they are separate, remain off until enabled and may be withdrawn at any time.
Payments and technical providers
To deliver the service we may use providers that process only the data required for their function:
- Stripe — pre-authorisations and payments; RiparoSUP does not retain full card details.
- Resend — emails concerning the request and repair.
- AWS S3 — private European storage of required photographs and files.
- CloseYourIt — technical observability and, only with separate permissions, statistics and replay.
Roles and operational details depend on the actual configuration; we do not disclose data beyond what the requested function needs.
CloseYourIt, statistics and replay
CloseYourIt detects technical errors to protect service reliability. This necessary function is limited to essential technical information and does not automatically enable statistics or recordings.
Statistics and replay are separate choices. They stay off without consent and can be changed separately through “Manage preferences”.
Advertising is a third preference, separate and off until you turn it on. If you allow it, the Meta pixel records the public pages you visit and the steps of the repair form, to measure which ads lead to a request. It is never active on repair or operator pages.
When authorised, replay operates only on public pages. Text and input fields are masked; repair requests, the operator panel, codes, private links, APIs and unknown routes are excluded.
Recipients and transfers
Data is available to the controller and, where necessary, involved providers. It may be disclosed to public bodies or professionals only where legally required or needed to protect rights.
We prioritise services and storage in the European Union. Any transfer outside the EEA is handled using the safeguards and instruments required by applicable law.
With advertising consent, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited receives browser identifiers and usage data from public pages, acting as an independent controller for its own purposes. Transfers to the United States rely on the safeguards provided by applicable law.
Retention
We retain data and photographs for the time needed to assess the request, manage the repair, meet obligations and address disputes or security needs. Administrative, tax and legal data follows statutory periods.
Different categories and purposes require different periods. When the need and obligations end, data is deleted or made non-identifiable where technically possible.
Rights and complaints
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw optional consent without affecting processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority.
